Yep, thats right...we have it! And it's not even out in the US yet. Once again UNITED has delivered annointed songs with screaming guitars and powerful ballads (this time from the studio - not live). If you're truly desperate for the album, let me know - we could work something out, for the right price of course. ;)

Flamingo Road Church

The Ribeiro's have a new church home and we couldn't be more excited! We have been warmly welcomed and quickly put to work! Easter at FRC includes 29 worship services at 6 campuses with an expected 10,000+ people. I can't wait to see what God will do. Check out this video commercial of the FRC campuses... it's hilarious - the media guys are so creative and talented. Also..log into the internet campus when you get a chance and check it out for yourself, you might even see me there strumming along. God Bless You all...

Resignation
Sunday afternoon, over lunch, I literally received 18 missed calls, all with messages regarding our resignation. Monday morning I checked my email to get about another 11 emails with questions and concerns. All to say, yes...it's official, we will be leaving West Kendall very soon; as a matter of fact, you're all invited to my last sunday there - 3.25.07 - Email me if you'd like to read for yourselves the letter that was read on Sunday morning, which clearly explains our departure.Even-though this is included in the letter, I must reassure you all that I love the people at MBC and know that God is going to richly bless them as they continue to reach this city for Christ. I have had the privilege to lead a group of talented, hardworking, humble and goofy artists that have served night and day, rain or shine - we love you guys and thank you all for understanding that our time has come. Also, I personally wish to thank Pr. Rob Myers for the opportunity to lead, for letting me take risks and for believing in me throughout the years. Thank-you for caring and tending to the flock like you do. I love you Pastor Rob! Take the city for Him ...
Blessings to you all,
Heredes

The way I see it ...
In my career I’ve found that “thinking outside the box” works better if I know what’s “inside the box.” In music (as in life) we need to understand our pertinent history ... and moving on is so much easier once we know where we’ve been.
-- Dave Grusin
Award-winning composer and jazz musician.
Here's some pertinent history:
How Great Thou Art at age 10!
I know where I've been
I know where I'm headed
Thankyou God!!!

Weekend Recap...
What a wonderful weekend... here's the summary:
Friday Night:
North Carolina's very own Mike Coia lead our youth in worship. Awesome Job dude ...I'm excited to see what God's gonna do in your life. Rockstar baby ! Here is the set-list:
All Bow Down, Here is our King, All creatures of Our God and King, Prepare the way, Marvelous Light
Saturday Morning:
I went for the best jog of my life. The day was beautiful, sun shining bright, cool breeze and iPod blasting. I beat my own record and jogged for 49 minutes straight. My iPod playlist included some good ol' Linkin Park, Jonzetta, The Killers and Blindside. Rock and Roll = Jog and Sweat.
Saturday Night:
We worshipped at FRC's saturday night service (it was great, challenging and encouraging), later we went to a 15's party and got to meet up with some old old old old friends.. people we haven't seen in years. It was a blast ... I got to pray for the birthday girl and bless the food on behalf of the Ribeiro's in Brazil.
Sunday Morning:
Ivan did an awesome job at leading the church in worship. You guys are great.. thanks for your humble heart and friendship. God is honored in your servant's heart. Here's the set for those of you who missed it:
Worthy, You are Worthy / Everyday / It is You / I lift my Hands / Nothing but the Blood / Amazing Love
Also, Pr. David hit a homerun with his message. Great job man. "Crazy, Crazy, Crazy" watch out for them Crazy's
Sunday Afternoon:
Great BBQ with the family. Nothing like some grilling under the sun. What a beautiful Day ... God is smiling down on us today!
Sunday Night:
I'm heading over to Ed Young's Church on Sunset (www.fellowshipchurch.com). I'm always encouraged by the excellence and creativity poured into their weekend services. The Good News deserves our best resources and effort and they sure deliver.
Finally... The Amazing Race Party at my place .... if you're a fan ... bring some popcorn and come enjoy this family safe reality show. YEah yeah ..we're getting old..but it's such a fun show .. Marcy and I are actually signing up for one... we'll travel the world in 28 days and run the race for 1 million bucks. Huh? Huh? Now you like it huh
Blessings,
H

Change seats...
I wish I got a dollar everytime I got these requests... I'd be a millionaire! Have ya'll ever tried sitting somewhere else? Give it a try. I know we'll never please everybody...and ultimately it's not about "pleasing" anyone in church anyway. But has it ever dawned on us that it's not about who we need to keep in the pew, but who we need to get in the pew? No matter how young or old, or what church you attend... get over your preference and get out of your chair! Sit closer, or sit further - change seats! But most importantly: Get the word out and get your friends in church!

No Doubt
No Doubt by Petra
There are times when you feel like you can't go on
There are times when you feel like giving in
And there are times when you feel like you can't try anymore
There are times of trouble in believing
This test of your faith will last
As long as it takes to pass
Till you have no more doubt you'll endure
And your faith will emerge true and pure
(Chorus)
No doubt it'll be alright
With God it'll work together for good
No doubt in the end it will be understood
No doubt it'll all work out
With faith He can move any mountain for us
No doubt in the power of Jesus
And after all is done we find out
All we really need to have is no doubt
There's a time to take a reckless leap of faith
There's a time to be cautious and to wait
And there's a way of learning from the past
That this time of trouble won't last
And sometimes we want to think we know
The ways He will choose to make us grow
But it's never the way of our choosing
And we can't always see what He's using
There will be winters in the seasons of our soul
With a cold and bitter wind that chills our lives
But our faith can be building a fire
That will warm us till springtime arrives
