TIME magazine just published an eye opening Photo Essay entitled: What the World Eats - view it here - I have summarized it below - It pictures what a typical family spends per week on groceries. I must say ... we are spoiled - your thoughts?

wow ! pretty impressive - we truly are blessed - to know that our one month can sponsor hundeds and hundreds of families in Chad is just sad - LEslie
i believe the Philippine's consumption of an average family is pretty much like Chad, if not slightly better. yep, americans are blessed --- and spoiled -- very complaining. many don't realize how blessed america is.
And yet Americans still complain that their hungry sometimes even though in other countries people could go hungry, starving for days without food and no complaining.
