Stoopid ... with Two O's!

Don't be stoopid ... plan something right now!

Here are some suggestions:

• -A Date with wife
• -A good workout
• -Your meals for the week
• -Your reading schedule
• -A meeting with someone
• - Plan Time to think
• - Plan to buy and write thank you cards
  
• -Plan a surprise for someone random
  
• - Plan Time Away
  
• - Plan to meet someone new
• - Plan do something different
• - Just Plan something and see it through !

As my old pastor would also say : Proper Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance! Just Do it!

Side Note: I had a conversation with a friend today who said that he doesn't believe in planning (specifically when it comes to church programming & weekend planning) ... he told me that he just "wings it" and "let's God do the rest". He also said that he feels like he "trusts God more when he does that!"
My response was ... "I love you bro , but you're just stinking Lazy and Stoopid with two O's! You may trust God more (which I don't think is the case) ... but God ain't trusting you with jack squat! That's just lack of passion and drive -- specially for the things of God! --- Then I told him that he was indeed planning alright ... planning his failure and complacency route... which at the end of our convo (and after I paid for his coffee) --- he agreed. :)

...I told him I would share this ...so no worries ..... he doesn't read my blog anyway ...

Any thoughts from blogville? I'd like to hear your take...
How would you have answered differently .. or maybe even agree with him? Why?
